Terms of use

Roè is an experimental service operated by an individual in Greece. These terms cover your use of it, and we have written them to be read in one sitting.

01

What Roè is

Roè sends one question a day and keeps the entries you choose to keep. That is the whole service. For anything to do with your health, please speak to a doctor or a therapist, and in an emergency call your local emergency number — they can help in ways an app can only wish to.

02

Your account

You will need an email address, and you should be sixteen or over. Each account belongs to one person. Keep your password to yourself, since anything written under your account is treated as yours. If you ever think someone else has signed in, tell us and we will help you close it off.

03

What you write stays yours

You own your entries. We take just enough permission to store them safely and show them back to you, and that is the only thing we do with them. They stay out of our marketing, our research, and anyone else's training data.

04

Free and paid

Roè is currently offered as an experimental service. If paid features are introduced, the price, billing period, cancellation terms, and payment provider will be shown before you agree to pay.

05

House rules

Use Roè for your own lawful writing, on your own account, and leave other people's accounts to them. That is the whole list, and it keeps things simple for everyone.

06

Availability

We look after Roè carefully and we will tell you when maintenance is planned. If we ever have to close it down, you will get sixty days' notice and a plain-text copy of everything you have kept.

07

Ending it

You can delete your account in Settings. This removes your live account, settings, and archive data. Residual copies may remain temporarily in protected backups until those backups expire under normal retention schedules. If an account breaks the house rules, we may restrict or close it where reasonably necessary and will explain the decision when the law and security considerations allow.

08

Liability

Roè comes as you find it. Our responsibility runs as far as the law asks, and that includes anything caused by our own negligence or bad faith. The choices you make after reading your own archive stay happily your own.

09

Changes and law

We may update these terms as Roè develops or legal requirements change. For material changes, we will update the effective date and provide any notice required by law. Greek law applies, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.
